Treating a horse with foot related lameness requires a skilled and knowledgeable professional. Equine Podiatry Clinic, a division of BWD Equine Services Ltd., provides podiatry services through a variety of techniques to ensure optimum health of the equine foot.

Our farriers, Barney Cummings and Dave Dawson, use their combined years of experience to diagnose and formulate a treatment plan to overcome various lameness problems. In addition, we promote correct horseshoeing techniques to encourage sound feet.

Our farriers work in conjunction with McKee-Pownall Equine Services. BWD Equine Podiatry Clinic is proud to be associated with veterinarians Dr. Mike Pownall, Dr. Melissa McKee and Dr. Maggie Turner. The combination of farrier science and veterinarian medicine enables us to treat each equine foot condition effectively.

Diagnostic tools assist us in determining the severity of the problem and subsequently aid us in choosing the right treatment plan. Ultrasound and Digital Imaging services are available.
